Famous Members Of The Pamplona Posse

On of the questions I sometimes am asked is “How do we know you guys exist?” Now without getting into any great existentialism argument the answer is quite simple. First I suggest that people google the Pamplona Posse and then see how many articles we have put out all over the internet giving advice and stories about the fiesta. Then I point out that this website is not the work of some slick scam artists, it is put together by Pamplona addicts not computer geeks and to a large extent what you see is what you get. However our trump card is the number of Movies Stars and well-know faces that have been party of the Posse over the last few years. Hence this section will highlight these illustrious members of the Pamplona Posse. We have featured on a number of documentaries about the fiesta and the Pose has provided logistics for many journalists, photographers and film makers over the last few years in the fiesta.

This picture shows one of the top international rugby players relaxing with a soft drink in the streets of Pamplona. At this point is way about 9.30 pm and the photo was taken shortly before he went off for an early night with a cup of Horlicks. He then got up early to watch the bullrun from a safe distance, never once during the whole fiesta engaging in any riotous drunken behaviour, wenching or running with the bulls. He was a symbol to us all of how you can enjoy the fiesta in a healthy manner without risking life and limb or abusing your body with booze. His respect for the young ladies he came in contact with was exemplary as was his behaviour. In fact some of the staff were disappointed that a mug of Horlicks was all he ever took to bed with him. Then again maybe I am mixing him up with somebody else!!!!

Now the next picture is of someone that I have total recall of, the movie star Tara Reid who was filming a documentary for The E Entertainment Channel, I though I had really hit it off with her until when the programme came out and she referred to this great ‘Old Guy’ that she met i.e. myself! Yes she regarded me more as a coffin-dodger rather than some young stud! Such were my dreams !!!!

Still we had some great times filming and she did treat me to two of the best restaurants in Pamplona. We also helped make a good documentary about the fiesta which was repeated over twenty times on the ‘E Entertainment channel.
